So it has been literally a day since I bought Yamashita, but since then I unlocked Africa, collected lots of medals from achiements and am now perfect clearing 1941 Eastern. I currently only have 468 medals but if things go as planned I will get an additional 650 from 1941 Eastern+achievements. My lineup is:

Axis: Guderian, Leeb, Yamashita, Free Gens up to 1941

Allies: MacArthur, Monty, Free Gens up to 1941

I am primarily considering Rommel for Axis heavy tank, Patton for allied medium or Govorov for Allied artillery. I don't think I need airforce or navy yet but I haven't played through this game before so idk.

Hmm, I think I might hold on to my medals for now so I can bail myself out if I get stuck on either side. But, seeing as Napoleon could clear all of Africa with a team that is weaker than mine, I probably won't need it. Perfect clear might be a different story though.

He deals good damage, better than Roko and Patton. Plus he is cheap.
