Rules:
Score calculation:
No.1: 2000 medals
No.2: 1500 medals
No.3: 1000 medals
Additional awards will be given based on the number of participants. You are competing with members from Baidu, therefore being no.1 in EFC doesn't necessarily mean you're getting 2000 medals.
FAQs:
1. What are the boundaries of the Mediterranean?
The boundaries are the Strait of Gibraltar, the Bosporus Strait (grid to the immediate right of Istanbul), and the Suez Canal.
2. What does it mean to occupy a port?
If you capture a city AND its port, then you have occupied a port. If you capture a city and then build a port within its territory, you have also occupied a port. Re-occupying ports that belonged to you at startup will not count.
3. Can I steal from my allies?
Yes. As long as you follow the procedure in #2.
4. Can I declare war on my allies?
Yes. Do note that if you do so, the country points brought by them will be taken away as well.
5. How does the country point work?
Say you are the Tribal Union in 1914. If Bulgaria defeated Montenegro and Greece, they earned 2*8=16 points for you since both Montenegro and Greece have no fewer stars than you. However, if Bulgaria got defeated or you declared war on them later in the game, that 16 points will not count toward your final score.
6. Can I let my enemies surrender?
No. You have to defeat them.
- You can use any country in any conquest map. However, playing with 1861 will result in an automatic 0 since none of them are by the Mediterranean.
- You can deploy up to (4 - stars of your country) generals.
- The time limit is 17 turns, but you may not operate on turn 17.
- You must provide screenshots for turn 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, the diplomatic situation, tactics page, and initial screen of turn 17, and every time a coastal non-ally gets defeated.
- No medkits.
- Results will be accepted until 4:00 PM, Aug.15, UTC.
Score calculation:
- Every port by the Mediterranean occupied will give 6 points. You are allowed to built ports in occupied cities.
- Every coastal non-ally defeated with stars no fewer than you will give 8 points. If an ally gets defeated, all country points brought by them will be taken away.
- If you have purchased "Advanced strategy package," you score will be automatically deducted by 6.
- The remaining industry will be used as tiebreaker.
