Call of Duty has a great campaign, while Battlefield has great multiplayer. Call of Duty requires speed and luck, while Battlefield requires strategy and patience. I will admit that Call of Duty has done a bit too much with the future stuff. Their World War 2 games were the best.

Well, yeah, but it mostly relies on speed and luck.
Speed: If you don't move, you're going to die. Check your corners? Ha! Mine as well kill me now.
Luck: Come on. You know that some of the shots you or your enemy made were based totally on luck.
I agree on the hating all new CoDs. Their story lines are very interesting, in my opinion, but that doesn't excuse the fact that they've branched a bit too far into the future. I liked Black Ops 1 and 2, I admit, but that's because there wasn't anything too crazy in them and they still made quite a few innovations which made for some interesting scenarios. I tried the newer CoDs, and they suck in these areas. Crazy things that ruin the tried and true "I want to shoot things in multiplayer, plain and simple" exist all over the place. I don't care about the stupid wall running or exo-suits, yet that's ALL there is.

Yeah Wish Activision would go back to world war 2 landing at Pointe Du hoc in call of duty 2 fighting Germans Japanese in cod 5. Maybe some day we will see the return of world war 2 games. Only ww2 games are Sniper Elite and brother in arms today also a game called enemy front you play as a American Journalist that is in Europe helping resistance fight the Germans. |
