Hello, everyone! We all agree that rumor is a must-have skill to beat the game. But I'd like to hear your thoughts about whether too much rumor might be less effective. What I mean is what is more effective: to give rumor to as many of generals as possible, or to make rumor-damage dealer links? For example, we have 6 generals (as usual). Let's assume Konev, Guderian and Rommel have rumor. Three rumor skills is usually enough. Is it better to have Roko (additional rumor) or Manstein (no rumor but huge damage)? Or let it be Bradley (with rumor) vs Govorov (theoretically, can have rumor but accuracy is more obvious choice)? What do you think?

Well, I have Guderian, Rommel, Rokossovski, Timoshenko, Konev, Kuznetsov and Mannerheim, all have rumor. No matter how much rumour you have you still can't confuse all enemy units, so I don't think you can have too much. For Govorov I would add rumor rather than accuracy, as Explosives, lvl 4 Jungle fighting, Arty barrage and 6 stars is enough for damage.

Is he 2nd best tank gen?

As a damage dealer I think he's the second best, but overall a great general especially for early game. Haven't used him though.

Marshall rank and Blitzkrieg make him survive long, but the lack of rumour doesn't help others.

Haven't used him though. I would even say he is the best pure damage dealer. Both Guderian and Manstein have AA, PL and blitzkrieg. So it's rumor + either explosives or plain fighting vs TOI + plain fighting. Since rumor doesn't add damage, Manstein's potential output is even greater.

"You can never have too much rumor" -Bruchminati Yes, maybe. Sometimes I wonder if it's even possible to beat the game without rumor)

Well, yeah if you put the optimal skill set to Guderian, but if you want the max damage out of Guderian you could give him Plain fighting and Crossfire.

yeah but crossfire trigger less because of blitzkrieg And Artillery. Nonetheless, it's a great skill, as Monty and Rommel show us, with a great medal.
