alr so im on Mariana current lineup is Zhukov MacArthur and Patton plus the freebies. problem is Cunningham is kinda sus he doesn't do good damage and against demigods like Nagumo he'll get ripped to shreds in seconds. im thinking of buying Nimitz just to flex on Nagumo for all the suffering he made me endure but hes kinda expensive. or I could get spruance + any generals that's under 905 so any suggestions?

Buy Nimitz don't buy Cheap general. Also you'll need tons of great naval gen for elite mode and challenge mode

I suppose you could go for Halsey, since most of those missions have a carrier. Halsey is the only one with air force cluster I think.
I personally didn't use Halsey during 1945, just stuck with Arnold, or no air force gen at all to throw in an extra tank/infantry gen.
I think you should be looking at a purely heavy tank general now though, one with the panzer leader skill. Patton is more of a medium tanker due to blitzkrieg
Perhaps you can also consider taking a look at Vasilevsky, just as a backup infantry general.

You need a heavy tanker. Patton is okay, but you need someone like Monty/Roko/Vatutin (I recommend Vatutin if you're short on funds, Monty/Roko otherwise).

Yes, like the above posts mentioned, you'll want a heavy tank gen. Monty, Rokossovsky and Vatutin are good choices.
I personally went with Tassingy for my 2nd inf gen, even after buying Slim.

Luckily enough Slim and Tassingy together are only slightly more expensive than MacArthur alone  I won't buy Mac this time. He's good but not twice as good as either of them. |
