The battle of the Coral see

I heard this mission is still a hard nut to crack, so, I hope this small guide will be comprehensive and useful.

We have to achieve our goals a bit ahead of time to be successful.
Economic aspects of this mission are quite important.

1. We have to take a port immediately. It is probably the only one place where we can replenish our ships in the midst of battle.
We can deploy all of our generals or to keep one in reserve (we have another battleship as a reserve unit).






Since we have port in our hand we need to find finances.

So, your two Infantry units have to be quite active. Take all possible oilfields as well. I deployed Model to occupy all economic buildings as soon as possible.


Next step is to eliminate Kirkland.
Doenitz is our key figure in this mission, so we don't want him being injured in this first battle. So, we send our light vessels to weaken Kirkland and his support ships. Some of our ships will be severely damaged. No matter we will heal them after they retreat.









Now Ozava and Guderian return to port and Doenitz and a carrier are moving to Fletcher. Don't get involved in heavy fights, let Doenitz attack carriers and easy targets.
I was hoping to find this port unoccupied, but it is a bad luck. Nonetheless we can attack Fletcher now.

Don't hesitate to use torpedoes too



After Fletcher is defeated Doenitz can retreat for a while. Meantime Ozava, Guderian and our reserve battleship are moving towards Nimitz and carriers. Our goal is to destroy carriers first.







When carriers are sunk Nimitz is alone and isolated. It's time to defeat him.








I find it hilarious that it is Guderian who delivered coup-de-grace
