I've cleared this level long back. But now it haunts me in the want of a perfect clear. I can comfortably take the first sub objective, but I can't take the city at the eastern tip of Java in 7 turns. I need a strategy for perfect clear.

When you clear the airport and city on the starting island, paratroop Yamashita (as much stacked as possible) on the tile with coastal gun, while rush hype and leeb across sea escorted by Ozawa on the ship.

I can comfortably take the first sub objective, but I can't take the city at the eastern tip of Java in 7 turns. I need a strategy for perfect clear. What generals do you have? I'll just tell you how I did it: I put Guderian, Leeb, and Yamashita on their respective units, with a Wiking, Panther, and Transport unit. Then I immediatly marched south, with Ozawa on the cruiser moving first to scout, the carrier attacks, than my units move it. Then With that done (presumably on turn 2/3/4) I parachuted to the eastern island with the oil, than began moving to Java. This is why SFs are important. With that boosted mobility, use them and Ozawa to move directly at that 8-turn objective (8 turns not 7). If you have any spare land generals build reinforcements and put them on there accordingly. I had Rommel in 1942 (dunno why), so I put him on the armored car. If you are dying in the ocean, than I recommend using your Donitz (I recall you have that), he will help with blasting ships to smithereens. I also had a problem, but it was with getting the 25 units killed because I was moving too fast. Remember, when you take the 8-turn city, move west to take Java and spend your time killing units.
