Hello.
Should I farm and wait to buy the best generals for each class or should I buy cheaper but still good generals and then buy the best ones when the time is right.

There is no reason the buy cheaper generals other than that you are stuck, so buy the best of each class, in order of priority: Cavalry, Infantry, Artillery, and when you get the the Crimean War challenges (a very long time), Navy. |

You should farm and get good generals. In this game, the amount of medals outside of farming isn't too much so you don't want to be wasting medals on generals who will not be a part of your endgame. |

Soo imma buy karl and massena for inf, murat and dabrowski/davout, mahmud and alexander/john/sophia for arty, navy however isnt as useful yet |

Not Davout, he doesn't have aura, IIRC, and Lan is better than Davout. |

In WC4 you can't farm so you have to get Messe. In GOG3 you can't fire generals and there are lineups that encourage stronger gens, so cheap gens are useless. EW6 is a mix of the two. Would still not recommend starters though.
