you can do it with accessible equipment for all players of that era (Ex: Classical Age: Leonidas, Alexander, Beowulf etc)

That is a good idea. I'm not sure if I can completely do that for one and two star nations. But I can definitely do it for the three star nations.

For some one star and two star countries, I can say how to do it with a +1 age generals.

I think tips, things to take note and recommended directions to advance should suffice.
After all, this game's Conquest is paradoxically more randomised and predictable compared to other games' Conquest. This excludes nations made of 1-2 cites being destroyed early on by more powerful neighbours.
So you may see the field radically changing as you play.
There is also a matter of when one attempts a Conquest, which affects their gens' abilities, and who are used. There are certain directions which suit / do not suit certain gens. Eg. Conquering South America with the more squishy Saladin.

Well i wished to start a complete game guide but my work is pending and schools started so......
I rather suggest that you go for the pathways and some gens(if you memorize them) that appear in mid game. Because no matter wht gens u suggest not many care for conquest cause it makes so less of game(i would suggest a general gift system like princess gift system to improve conquest plays) best of luck ask for help whenever u want.cause i memorize abilities of 19 different no name gens in conq but cant post them cause i am not able to post screenshots😢.and same for paths however i may create word path chains.
