As much as I like the Clinton reference, I have to go with Massena. For a cheap price you get: - Probably your first general
- Infantry aura
- Second best infantry general
One could argue that Lannes is more cost-efficient, but you probably won't keep him, and his last mission will need generals.

Karl on the other hand is good on everything, he can go up to emperor, and is a sustainable general who can take a lot of hits and do a lot of damage at the same time |

should i buy karl or massena first? Actually, I went for Karl first. He sucks when you don't upgrade his good skills. Massena is better early game for balance reasons. I sold Karl and got Massena. Massena did better. Then a got Karl and upgraded both, Karl was better. Depends on whether you are flush with cash or not. And by that, maybe enough medals to buy Murat. So buy Mural, don't get Karl. Once again, get Massena first, Karl is worse than Massena early game, for medals reasons. And damage reasons. Also, get Murat second, best free -to-play general in the game. |

I just forgot to claim the free medals and princesses you get when completing all the campaigns 3 stars, now I have almost 2500 medals lol, for massena is it better to buy the ferguson rifle(or any highest specific damage boost) or ambulance and the same question for murat when i buy him eventually. |

I would get both, but I say the Ambulance first as that's the only reliable form of healing other than temples, but you have to stay on the temple. then the damage item. |

I see, anyways I think I'm ready to buy a general now because I'm stuck at the Russian Campaign (french eagle) for days(unless there's a way to win it with only free gens) so who should I buy first, Massena or Murat? |
