True (though “flank” is a strange word for it), but real world and Nazis’ imagination are two different things. Germans underestimated USSR quite a lot, so fight with it became far more serious than that with Britain

True (though “flank” is a strange word for it), but real world and Nazis’ imagination are two different things. Germans underestimated USSR quite a lot, so fight with it became far more serious than that with Britain That flank thing was a meme in the comment section of a video on YouTube (I do not remember it's name). IIRC It was about how Germany flanked strongest defenses of Maginot line by invading through Low Countries and Ardennes.
