How effective is the surprise attack skill on cavalry generals (EW6:1804) From what i remember, it's 8% when not moved at all, but that's all I know.

To add on: You get an atk boost for your cav gens when you don't move them or move them over small distances. They'll get a greater boost after being moved over certain distances. There's a thread somewhere about what distances will give a certain boosts, in increasing effect. What's not to love about a guaranteed atk boost?

"Up to 20%(5 tiles), down to 8%(not moving) when maxed out."
Surprise attack coefficient:
Lvl bonus without moving:
1.01-1.02-1.04-1.06-1.08
Moved hex = 1: +0.04
Moved hex = 2-5: +0.02(moved hex+1)
Moved hex = 5+: +0.12
