Iβve been playing this game on and off for a few years now, and Iβd gotten 7 maxed out or nearly maxed out generals, including Berthier, triple threat 5* Sakurako and as much hybrid potential possible on the others. So I pretty op and was just grinding for medals for items or even more trainers at that point.
Iβve decided to restart for a few reasons:
1. It was becoming uninteresting cause my generals were too good
2. I tried to cheat the video system so then I was unable to get ~90 free medals every day which is AMAZING value
3. I kinda regret some purchases/regroups, such as regrouping Kate (that was before I had extra slots though) and buying and maxing Hood
At first I was hesitant because the extra slots would go away, but thatβs just $4, a waste but not worth losing sleep over. For this one I want to buy more slots again and make sure to do everything right.
So what are some tips for progress? Thereβs a lot of guides here, Iβve read some of them but I just want to see what the most contemporary consensus is. Keep in mind Iβll probably end with 8+ slots and Iβm not opposed to grinding. Thanks everyone!

ks, I think you can go for an all Princess run in case you'll be getting 8+ slots, except maybe Maria. First thing would be to get Sophia, Maria and Fathima as soon as possible to help in the first campaigns. Get Arnold AT THE START too as with his 5 star trading, you can get items for lower value at the beginning and he also helps in preventing resource overflow in the conquests, especially when speedrunning. Complete the first 2 campaigns and get Isabella. Since you aren't hesitating to grind, you can hire top tier 2 generals to help out in campaigns and then regroup them in to Sophia/Isabella (Sulkowski comes to my mind as he is cheap, good and a cavalry trainer whom you can regroup into either Lan/Sophia). In case you are finding the campaigns difficult, you can always pause, buy items, trainers for your princesses and then start again. Go for the elite princesses once you've gotten enough campaign stars and trained your generals enough.

As you know the game and think about a restart - hey have a look at my EW4 .1 mod. It's a grafic-mod for EW4, actually V0.9. I am constantly working on updating the old EW4. It would be great to listen your comments. For your newstart: Arnold and then princess - that is how I start. PS. .1-mod: The Vanilla is the original game, the Unlock has tier 3 commanders for ποΈ, all campaigns open and free refreshes. (both 12-slot). |

Well lucky for me Arnold is in my academy with no resfreshes! I think I installed it three times before that happened. But anyway, I now have Arnold. Iβve never done this before, last time my first gen was Dobeln and before that was Hull.
I think the perfect team for Lan is Sophia, Isabella, and Sulkowski so I think I will get him at some point

Iβve never done this before, last time my first gen was Dobeln and before that was Hull. I think the perfect team for Lan is Sophia, Isabella, and Sulkowski so I think I will get him at some point So you don't play on android I assume. I am sure on android the commander after install are always the same. Now you can try the only Arnold runs. (HRE, US75, France06) But be aware! no elite-princess without headquarter or campaign, so keep the last save. Sakurako instead Sophia would be my final team, for the others I am with you. Three more slots make the game so much nicer and the campaign easy. I always spend them (2 or nicer, 3 slots). |

Definitely going to keep the top 6 princesses, but is Fatimah really worth keeping in an 8 slot lineup? She has no combat ability so anyone with a Napoleonic Code can do her job almost as well. Maxed out, the top six princesses are: x3 cavalry (Lan, Sak, Sophia) x3 artillery (Isabella, Sophia, Sak) x2 infantry (Vic, Sak, plus Lan and/or Sophia if I want) x2 navy (Vic, Kate) I guess nothing else is really needed, but other generals make it more fun, even if theyβre not the best. Maybe Iβll try Qajar lol |

I used Quosdanovith, Arnold, Agha and Ferdinando I.On a 8-Slot game, I would keep Fatima. I bought, after the campaign, Slot 7 - just to keep her. You will find quite a few fans of her here in the forum. Not for the replacable Economic Master, you are right, Architecture is the skill, that is so valuable in 2-star conquests. Without a working economy, it takes very long to build all necessary units for your 6 generals and Fatima is extremly usefull to speed up this slow start. And, as we talked before about the differences between IOS and Android for the Academy after installation: All explanations here in the board, why and how, the min-dmg skills are worse than the max-dmg skills - even worthless,all this is a result of the Min-Dmg-Bug: (Min-Dmg doesn't work (on Android).
The dmg-formula was evaluated with the Android-Version of EW4.
I believe, that ET planned the DMG-evaluation exactly like in EW3: Min-dmg is the lower range (on the dice) for every, still living, row of the formation (HealthFactor π). The Min-Dmg bug is prooved for Android - such a big bug - maybe on IOS (the original) min-dmg is working correct and mobility at least as good as surprise. |

This is progressing well. With Arnold and Sulkowski I managed to get all the European princesses except Victoria (in France 1798). Then with Arnold, Sulk, and Sophia I did the 1775 starve and got Kate and Lan.
However my generals/princesses are all low rank so I don't want to go for Victoria yet. I'll keep grinding and doing campaign (on HRE Battle of the Nations)

I'll keep grinding and doing campaign (on HRE Battle of the Nations) When You got already Lan, then Victoria should be in your reach. Europe/America has much lower bonus limits than Asian years ... (HQ 75Β 000πΎ : 175Β 000πΎ, and Campaign 235β : 411β) ... if you really want her. I have no use for Victoria and think serious about joining Fatima and regroup Victoria into her. |
