Well, I'm quite new to the game. I need like 3 missions to finnish for axis and 3 or 4 for allies and I bought Guderian. I know its early, but I like having a clear plan in mind, so I was wondering, who my next general should be? Thanks in advance!!

Assuming that you are in 1939, Leeb would be best, Axis arty generals are lacking and you need more Axis generals than Allied ones early on. Leeb is also really good.

I am starting to think that Leeb is the best buy as of now! I was thinking that It would be cool to have both Rommel and Guderian at the start of the game, but even though Rommel can be useful as the artillery general, Leeb is just beast! Also one question. Can you use Rommel in '41 campaign?

stevke, get Leeb next. Then get either Yamashita or Vatutin/Rokossovksy (Depending on your needs). Also, do consider getting Donitz before 1942 Pacific to make your life easier. They are doable without Donitz, but a bit tough. Or Nagumo in case you want a cheaper alternative.

Yamashita seems like a atomic bomb on infantry, so can't wait to get him as well. God, I love this game!!

Some more atomic bomb combos : Leeb + Elefant Rommel + Maus Yamashita + Wiking Rokossovsky/Vatutin + KV6 Govorov + Katyusha... And I too love this game. It has so much tactical depth. It's a few levels higher (Or maybe thousands) than GoG2 lol.

Rundstedt is better than Yamashita in damage (IL does more in the long run than BC), Survivability (Samurai is easily replaceable with SF, FS is more consistent than Guerilla, and Plunder is a nice bonus). Rundstedt has an extra two air stars and is absolutely OP on an HT. Lastly, he is in 44 and 41, compared to Yama's 42 and 45.

But damn on Infantry, even kesselring hit harder than him.

He has 4 stars and IL, better than Yama. Alright, I can't resist, but why he is better than Yamashita? I listed it a couple posts up. I meant here that he has better damage than Yama. I also forgot to mention that his skill synergy is the best (IMO) in the game.
