Here we rate every gen(its already rated but too historic) we will mainly focus on 16gen teams here. I would speak of all 53 gens,thier skill,their abilities and overall use.
As for the voting u can vote all but vote only those that u trully suggest must be a part of 16gen team and if you dont really wish to make the ability a must but a suggestion than plz write it below and dont vote for it

All golden gens
Caesar; braveness helpful enough
Both infantry and archer killer at 6*
Cost very high
Usability marvelous
Recommended:mildly recommended to everyone. Highly recommended for inf comm or anyone who has a glitch related to medals,who is not free to play and can have patience enough to afford it. Overall a good gen worthy top 4out of top 16 cause of high cost.

You only need one commander option: commanders are essential, but arguably no particular unit type of commander is strictly necessary.

According to me now as we can have 16 gens ,i would like to have 4 of each type and 2 or 3 comm of each type because in hard mode gods have tons of health. For example in segontium,there is fenrir it can be headache if it is in more higher levels with more health so having 4archers and 2 of them comm can be good to tackle it. And this will be helpful everywhere. The team i am thinking to pick is khalid,cleo,nap,li,wash,nob(i made him elite just few minutes ago!),Nelson,pac or jebe,bar,petain,rich, maybe cae or(not decided.,geng,suri,attila, and honzong,i know this makes 5 arch and 3 cav but i don't find any good sustainable cav. |

Now getting back to topic
Factors we should keep in mind while selecting gens or wht i suggest i would rather add.
The expensive ones should be worth the top 4 or top 8.(i like it this way top 1 top 2 top 4 top 8 and top 16 so i ll discuss likewise).the secondary team of eight (8main +8secondary=16) should not cost very high and be good enough to support our main 8 loopholes.
According to my mind, top 1; a team should have 1 logistics heavy tank. This will be our top priority to upgrade and use. I have wash but rich too is brilliant for this. Petain shines here as well but we get him too late so i suggest only suri sala rich and wash compatible (reasons afterwards). They are true monsters if upgraded. They are best and deserve top 1 in team. Top 2; including top 1 and someone with leadership i have barbarossa and suggest nobunga edward moct and barbarossa only. They are great and needs to abe the second one to be focused on. In a match where u can take only two take these (if there is no special requirement. Top 4; including top 2 and 1 braveness+1 chaos. I Suggest this but commander that aids top 2can be good here as well. I have genghis for braveness and suggest suri,attila,caesar for this. Hannibal and shingen too can work. For chaos i have napoleon and suggest rich,cleo,sulieman (nelson and others only suffice in sea battles so they r in top 16 only) other than this try and keep 1of each arty range cav and inf in top 4 but if u go for a special comm run then ur choice. Top 8, top 8 should have two comms atleast. It should have 1 brave,1 log,1 leader and 1 arty atleast. I have for this suri(comm and brave and heal by plunder) nob(leader) li shimin (arty) Richard (he is just meat shield most of times but now i will upgarde him, i have attila if i need 8th person so rich is 9th until maxed. Once maxed he comes in top 8 and attila goes to 16.
For top 16 have good value elite troops fir example in endgame u should have people with every available power. I plan on washington,nobunga, li honzong,nelson, and jebe and pach (if i get pachauti in time). This way i have 1 archer that can kill everyone and heal again and again. 2 archer with leader. 3 arch with comm. 1 longbow,2 mobility,1 heavy cav killer and 1 navigation and 1 defense.
Then i plan to have attila genghis and suriyothai this way i get 3braveness 2 commander 1 plunder. And all 3 inf killer with mobility. And then petain,rich,barb this way i get 2 com 2 disablers 2 logistics. 1 two time shooter, a no chaos and one who has high potential with even low health. In arty i wish nap lishimin cleo and khalid. This way i get 2 chaos two healers. One who have 1to4 range. 1 comm and 1 mobility. Now i can achieve everything. If something is missing tell me. Cause overall 1 have 5 mobility 8 comm 4 leader 4 chaos 6 healers (they heal themselves) 4 braveness 5 3hex shotters and much more like 3 people who are good at killing anyone they face.

I don't use Def aura gens, except for my Catherine with Aegis. Def aura is beneficial if you can spam it frequently, bit I didn't find it necessary.

So true. And i would have had mentioned blucher instead of jebe and am still planning blucher but it will take lot of time to grind medals for him and he probably misses the bus or isnt worth

So changed my mind a bit. I have 9 maxed gens. Washington nobunga li-honzong pachuti. Genghi suriyothai. Barbarossa petain. Napolean. Their frndlisness and useful abilities are maxed.
I plan on attila(have him but only 4* and lvl 6 abilities) richard(have him 4* no abilities)Alexander (2* no abilities) lishimin( 4 star no abilities) bismark 5* no abilities) heichhario ( will buy him) nelson (will buy him)
So mine was a cav comm turned a inf comm and will be an arch comm.
