As i was in Battle of Taranto, Italian troops defeated my troop in Taranto, they never bothered to get the city even though it was WIDE OPEN. Anyways beat this level first try, without a guide. Do you think Italy was too lazy to capture Taranto, or were they too busy minding Riccardi getting rekt.

Honestly? They were probably scripted to just hold their positions or any enemy that could have moved was probably bombed.

Honestly? They were probably scripted to just hold their positions or any enemy that could have moved was probably bombed. Yes they literally never captured Taranto, it was wide open and i had no more reinforcements. Yes maybe they were instructed to hold position.

"Enemies are doodoos"
Let's just say they were having a break. Like teatime. Can't be fighting all the time under the hot desert sun

Yes they literally never captured Taranto, it was wide open and i had no more reinforcements. Yes maybe they were instructed to hold position. It happens sometimes. Even in Operation Vulcan, the Italians leave their city open in the anticipation of Messe. If you kill him before he gets there or give him enough time to evacuate, that city would be empty and you can literally walk in from the dark into their city.
