For those who play on multiple different OS's, what are so differences and which one do you prefer?

Well I play on Windows. It sure has a bigger screen, but we can't zoom in or out of the map unless it's a touch laptop.

Well, I play on a broke android pad, because the screen is much much bigger than on my windows phone. And the scandal: Microsoft closed already their version of an MS-windows-phone appstore years ago - incredible. Btw: - has anyone EW4 for Microsoft Phone (8.0) ? Without a working toutchscreen, I have to use the pad like a laptop, and to work with the mouse too, John Marston. On Android, I know only EW4 V1.5.6 (Build 12), where I can zoom with the scrollwheel of the mouse. I am so greatfull to Arthur Currie, who found and fixed, this version for us. - You can immagine.

Until the guy who was supposed to fix it broke it, I had a Kindle Fire HDX. EW4 stayed unquestioningly stable on that device, and I was up to Isabella. The only thing wrong with that version is that it only has 99 turns, so I couldn't do those long, progressive conquests using small nations that I wanted to try.
My Galaxy Tab 8 has suffered numerous erasures; however, that one has the 999 turn limit and it's a lot friendlier for playing extended grinds to create a target-rich environment.
I have it on my PC, but this version doesn't have ads and I haven't played it for long enough to accumulate my first general yet. I haven't played a long enough conquest to determine if it's 999 turns, but I think it probably should be. Not being a touch screen makes it less intuitive to play, but might make it easier to do click-macro farming.

I started playing with my Iphone 8 last year but almost immediately switched to a macbook pro which is pretty much awesome, big screen, high control and the max general slots available for free.

Now I understand the difference. I knew an apple version had all slots free - but this is only for the desktop version - not mobile right ?

The Mobile IOS version (I use an Iphone 11) does NOT have all slots free. So I think its just macbook
