note : i wont include slim , tassigny , Ushijima ....... because they 100% weaker than those in the polls

Probably a further definition of "weaker" is required. Kuribayashi hits harder than Yamashita, for example, because of 24% crit rate increase.

MacArthur is basically manstein of Infantry (It is lucky for us that he doesn't become an IAP that would be suck if he does)

Clearly number one is Eisenhower, but since he isn't in option it comes down to definitely MacArthur versus Rundstedt. There are a couple of things to take into account. First, MacArthur has access to the Cossack and Ranger while Rundstedt has access to Wiking, Samurai and Grenadier. About equal. MacArthur has Raider instead of plunder (Rundstedt with 4 stars will gain 18 HP per kill on infantry) which one of these is better we can argue about all day, they are both great. MacArthur has 3 movement to Rundy's hybridity. Because this is about the better infantry, MacArthur wins. TBH, If I were to make an Ideal non-IAP infantry, I would make MacArthur.

Allied special forces (cossak, ranger) suit MacArthur way better than the axis ones suit rundstedt. That being said I think with the SF promotion system Rundstedt > Yamashita |
