Hi, I was your regular player who thought I was never going to get Ian or Vitoria. But I acquired Ian from HRE! (Ian or Lan, I don't really know)
Sadly, I already have a good general/princess setup of Sophia, Isabela, Kate, Golitsyn, Ney and Dobeln. According to this blog, Ian is better than Golitsyn and Ney but I'm in the middle of playing Britain in campaign and trained my two boys to pretty high levels. If I were to sacrifice Ney or Golitsyn for Ian, I'll have to train Ian til she's a high level and have to regroup some trainers so she's 5 stars in calvary. Is she worth the medals and time to put off campaign to do like 50 more conquests for medals and rank?
Also to mention, my Ney is 5 stars in calvary and 5 stars in infantry... Golitsyn, I regrouped him so he's 5 stars in movement. Should I fight for Victoria with my regular 6 guys or replace one with Ian?... and if I do get Victoria, should I replace her with Dobeln?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. I would try and get Victoria. Then here is my plan: Beat the Britain campaign using Ney and Golitsyn because they are strong, then replace Dobeln with Victoria. If I understand correctly, she is a great infantry and navy general, which you will need for the campaign. After the Britain campaign is completed, I would swap Ney for Lan because she will eventually be stronger. OR, after the Britain campaign, you won't need Kate anymore so you can swap her for Lan. That's what I would do

Swap Dobeln for Victoria immediately btw, don't wait till you beat Britain

Thanks in advance. Of course it is a better decision to fight for Victoria. Regroup Dobeln and fill the last slot with Victoria. You don't really need Lan anymore.

I don't have Victoria yet but I will keep Goliysyn and Ney for now... for campaign only Is it possible to gain Victoria from HRE even after I got Ian from there? Or do I have to win her elsewhere like America?

Oh Ok. Lan makes more sense, thanks

I would replace Victoria with Kate after you finish SNS, and Lan with Ney. Do you mean the other way around? Probably, he already had Ney so I wouldn't see logic in buying him twice
