Battle of the Los Angeles help

Try using your infantry generals to tank through the front instead.
Keep a compact formation, to avoid getting flanked.

Don't waste too many troops northwards, I personally used Leeb with the wave of reinforcements to slowly battle for every grid north.

I don't think it's a general problem now. Just... tactics. Also, it's fine to lose generals as long as you take pheonix. They won't make it out in time to help with the north. Only infantry paratroopers stand a chance of jumping across half the map to meet up with your leeb.
