Graziani on Artillery is actually surprisingly good (Blitz 1 isn't good even on med tanks), and De Gaulle on Infantry can make pretty good use of his skills.

Gens that I've used in unorthodox places and found they work decently
1. Rommel on artillery
2. Monty on carrier
3. Donitz on infantry

Bock on artillery. Messe on infantry. Dowding on carrier I found (1) to be quite good at the start until I had Leeb and found his Leadership to be better spent on tanks. (3) is not unexpected. Dowding is an air gen after all. Monty as an air gen is a little unorthodox for me, but because he is my Allied gen with the second highest number of air *s, he goes on a carrier in Challenge mode. |

I forgot I put Tito and Nagumo on artillery before. Fun experience, trying to perfect clear some Eastern Front 1941 missions.
