So on average Monty does almost 5 more damage to non-armored units, while Rokko does almost 10 more damage to armored units. So my argument for Rokko is: As a HT he already hits hard against infantry, while with his anti armor he deals huge damage to tanks as well. Also a best KV-6 user. Truly all-arounder.
What do you think?

What do you think? In general, infantry can get shredded by any armour besides MTs (though Guderian can handle inf), and arty is scarce. HTs and MTs can fight HTs pretty well and the only other unit that can compete is arty. Monty's air and gold Machinist can rarely be used but can be used for a defense situation where you don't have Bock or an air general. It's a tossup for damage for me (though Roko beat Monty in my calculations), because the extra utility Monty has can make up for the lesser damage.

The thing is about your calculations is that you took that they will be hitting tanks, infantry, and Artillery at equal times, when that is simply not the case. Infantry is definitely number one, then tanks, then in last Artillery.

They still are a pretty helpful general refence, and each unit that Monty is good at has problems, infantry can still be crushed by Roko (and an be dealt with by others and are generally weak), Arty is sparse, and tanks? Well, tanks are not as sparse as arty and not as common as inf, but tanks are a bigger problem to HTs than the other types of units. Tanks also are tanky and can kill or seriously damage your HA and inf, and LA is pretty frail.

That's certainly true, but is better dealt with using the splash of the KV-6, where they are actually around equal in damage to tanks. Roko does an extra 15 damage to tanks, and KV-6 does 50% splash. That gives Rokossovsky an extra 7.5 damage while Monty gets to keep his 3-4, given with defense, so it is really only 4-5 extra damage to tanks if they hit them solely with splash, which is what Monty does extra to infantry.

roko is almost as equal as Monty BUT Monty has more damage. Still like Rokossovsky tho (gives me memories of the good, old me)
