kanue and Napoleon Bonaparte like this

Brunswick is one of the hardest countries the America 1775 conquest has to offer, on par with Switzerland in Europe 1806 (I can't resist self-promotion, so: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/1388/conquest-picard-episode-switzerland-1806) It faces 4 generals of 3 countries, 2 of them artillery, on 2 disjoint fronts, with the fronts separated by allies that will offer no help. What it does have is a decent general, and some units with good stats. Looking at the map shows your dismal position.
My gens and items are shown in the pics.
On turn one, you will build a single heavy art and put your highest health art gen on it (I used Sophia). You will also shift the light art south and Ferdinand north, and immediately start expanding your city. Since Bruix won't move much and Hopkins waits, you needn't worry about them attacking, but should beat them to it, starting with Bruix's more powerful cannon.
Meanwhile, Sophia will have her hands full with Sokolnicki and Kocziusko, but her more important role is to sit in the city with the Napoleonic Code making money you need badly. When the two die, you should shift Sophia north to Hopkins, where she will meet Ferdinand whoo has defeated Bruix. The regular troops of the north will walk into empty cities France can't afford to defend, and Spain and the Indianis will limit French power to Jourdan and Nashville. Now is also when you build a double heavy cav for a general (Radetzky is ideal). Send Radetzky up to Nashville, then upriver to the Factory, then to Ushakov, then south to Jourdan. Upgrade the factory and build 2 double heavy arts for 2 generals (Isabela and Jourdan were mine) dispatch the faster of the two (Isabela) to Fort Dearborn (Read my Rant at: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/1628/chicago-fort-dearborn) and the slower (Jourdan) to handle nearby Americans like Dearborn, then on to Philadelphia.
Right after AI Jourdan is killed, send Radetzky to Charleston
Now, the map features 4 dominant areas, each to be discussed separately:
1. Russia:
This front is simple, use Isabela to kill, the indians will help, Watch Saint Louis closely. Hopefully Senyavin is dead but if not, no biggie.
2. "The Bowl"
also known as "The South" or "Dixie". I call it "The Bowl" because of the shape, bounded by Britain+Hessen in Philadelphia, the former French land in the east, and the trail Radetzky blazed in the South. Recruit another double heavy cav for a general (I had Sebastiani) and send into the bowl. Use Radetzky to take the port, then Wilmington, then continue up the shore before turning back South. Sebastiani and Sophia will enter the bowl from the west, with a target priority of Cities>Troops>Forts. Ultimately, Sophia should end up in a more fortress-heavy spot (because she has spy). Jourdan will handle the Philadelphia area and Washington with a lot of help from Hessen and Britain. Note: At the port of Charelston, you'll build an Ironclad for an Admiral (if you're taking this kind of challenge, I'm guessing that's Kate) who will handle the approach of Bouvet, and play a dominant role later
3. Netherlands:
Here, Chasse will have taken much of Saxony, but his health will not be too high, so Ferdinand with artillery backing will kill him. You will dispatch regular troops to Savannah while marching Ferdinand and co through the Stable to St Augustine and its port.
4. The Luxury Cruise
Verhuell and Treville are off with a couple of Honeymooning Privateers trying to go on a Cruise to the Bahamas. Fortunately, you have been building loads of Frigates ever since you could afford to, so you can surround and pound. You also have a general near the shore that can join in on the fun. You will surround both admirals, with your land general on Verhuell and Kate on Treville, once they die you take the privateers and make short work of them. Congratulations, you beat the American Revolution!
