Welcome to the fourth conquest! Yes, that thick-as-heck Huo on 5 imperial guard might startle you and Octavian on 5 javelineer will deal a ton of damage, but fret not! Here's a handy guide on how to win as Rome, Parthia, and the Han. Let's start with the Han.
Han Dynasty
There are three fronts to take care of. Firstly, rush Bosporan Kingdom and slaughter them (use Huo and unnamed cav gen), then push to Anatolia with them. Meanwhile, send Wei and his nearby units to the west (might be a good idea to place some gens there, especially on imperial guards). Defend Dacia and Boii against the Romans; use the imperial guards to take down the javelineers. The latter is a pain in the rear. You have a ton of allies in the west so support them with cash. Don't forget to summon the Cimbri.
The southern flank is a bit more tricky. Yes, the other major power, Parthia, is on your side, but they'll be facing Armenia, Cappadocia, Rome, Nabatea, and two other minor powers whose name I forgot. You can either push quickly to save Parthia from Armenia or you can bide your time. I chose the latter and place almost all my inf and archer gens here. After this, it will be a bloodfest as you advance south.
Conclusion: TBH the easiest out of the three. You have a few awesome gens and a lot of allies.
Roman Empire
There are three fronts to take care of. Rush and take Boii at all costs before Han arrives. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. Han will arrive with their bulky imperial guards, and Dacia will hammer you with Burebista. Play defensively, spam javelineer generals. Wei should arrive first so take him out before Huo can intervene. Bribe Odrysia (or whatever, the country with the hammer) from round 1, they should join your side at the same moment the Han slaughter arrives.
To the north, rush with Varus and take out Chatti. After that, you can play defensively while supporting Cimbri. I sent Anthony and Belisarius after winning the Dacian front to take control later. To the east, absorb the initial Parthian push and counterattack. Support your allies against Han, but prioritise the Dacian front. Your javelineer generals will be able to push east from Dacia later.
Conclusion: Definitely harder than Han. Excellent if you have an offensive mindset, because boy oh boy rushing Boii and Chatti isn't that easy.
Parthia
You have a couple generals: Surena (trash), Pacorus (quite good), Orodes and Phraates IV (ok). Now take a look at your enemies: Armenia, Cappadocia, etc. They have more gens than you do ... BUT FRET NOT! THE MIGHTY HAN WILL HELP-oh, they're stuck in Armenia.
Push to the north and weaken Armenia. Push to the south and take out eastern Nabatea. You will be overwhelmed in the west, so do a fighting retreat while you spam cataphracts, horse archers, and elite guards for your gens. Sooner or later, you'll take out all their gens and that's when you push back. Prioritise invading each nation. Don't forget the bribe-the-Cimbri-thing.
Conclusion: STAND. HOLD YOUR GROUND. And then beat the living hell out of them later when they're out of steam.
