Okay, we clearly have our opinions, but there is such a small change in the major infantry gens that it isn't worth arguing about it (except for Rundy v. Yamashita). I use Vasilevsky as a second Allied infantry general, I think he is good, especially for Pacific 1945 and Normandy, but to each his own. I use Yamashita as main infantry, Model as secondary. Mac is my main allied infantry general, at least he will have my Rokossovsky/Vatutin/Other tank general on his side in NA. The only thing that sucks about him is... well... dying easily. |

I'd argue that Model is better than Mannerheim. Mannerheim is a infantry destroyer yes but that is highly situational and could easily replaced with a SF. Model on the other hand have a defensive potential unlike any under. Under optimal circumstances, his defence can reach 10 or even higher.
