i have messe, guderian and konev, i just finished cold war normal which i found pretty easy. who should i get next? im thinking nimitz because on land i can steamroll the enemy pretty quick so rommel won't be as useful as nimitz.
Also for konev, i got rumour on him, what should my 5th skill be, others recommended plain fighting (not really a fan), crowd tactics and explosives. I think crowd is best choice because konev usually goes with guderian most of the time so buffing him would be good, i have explosives on guderian so don't need explosives on konev. plain fighting is just situational but crowd tactics works all the time.

torvestareturnDepends on your medals and progress in the game. What domination exercise/battle are you on? Also, have you completed the Rescue the Allies and others? Hiw many medals do you have? Now from questions to advice, I would probably buy Rommel. You definitely won't be able to complete Modern War and Cold War hard without Rommel unless you retry ALOT, but probably you won't be able to do it without Nimitz either. My suggestion would be to buy Rommel first and then a navy general, if you're managing with domination. Domination involves alot of navy and if your struggling, you could maybe get a navy admiral first. Then if and when you buy your navy admiral you should assess other options too. Mountbatten is slightly better than Nimitz imo, but Dönitz is definitely the best. Even though Dönitz is expensive he is by far the best navy general. His level 4 Wolfpack will make anything navy related possible. 12 medal navy invasions will be nearly impossible or very hard without Dönitz.

i have 1.5k medals right now, so i can buy one of them atm, i still have lots of medals to get from conquest (only did 2 so far), i 3 * all of europe, pacific and cold war on normal, and europe on hard. i haven't done the exercises that much, only on 3rd but did a lot of the challenges so not finding them difficult. my plan with these generals is not to complete the scenarios because i will try to do that later, right now i need to farm as many resources as fast as possible so i can max my tank + artillery tech and go further in navy + air, i also have to get lots of money to get the wonders that increase number of invasions + rewards (pyramids, great wall, red fort) because i know medals will be harder to farm than resources.
I think rommel will make it easier to farm conquests, but nimitz will make navy invasions possible so more medals i can earn. so rather than comparing the generals themselves, what do you think i should prioritise, getting romel to make conquests faster to grind or nimitz for navy invasion + other dominations.
also what conquests do you recommend for my stage to farm, i keep asking but no one has given a good option, i tried finland 1943 and egypt but i struggled because i was fighting on too many fronts - my allies just keep losing territory. i have some cold war upgrades for my tank + arty tech, i do end up using aircraft more than i should instead of spamming units which might be the problem

Rommel. A top army general is more useful than an admiral. Plus you usually have 2 tanks available.
If you want an admiral for invasions, get Donitz instead. You'll have to spend more to let Nimitz match Donitz's strength.

I suggest you to buy Rommel first and then Dönitz. Also, I think USSR 1939 and 1943 and USA 1950 are pretty easy and fast conquests to farm. |

Sadly i have less than 10,000 coins for making Rommel into Red name plate. I am gonna upgrade my gens' skills now  |
