Please help! I have been playing EW4 for about a year on 1 phone, including having upgraded the general slots. I need to copy the save games to another phone. How do I do this? I have tried App Backup, but that just installs the game without save files. I have tried Helium but that seems to error, or want a premium upgrade. There HAS to be some easy way that I am missing.
Help is urgently required as the phone is a work phone that I need to give back, so need to copy the game data ASAP.
Thanks

I have used Helium to great success. Can you tell me what you are trying to do with it?

Helium installed and running on Android and PC. I have to select all apps and then delete everything until just EW4 remains. App Data only checked (although tried it without too) Press Backup - Internal Storage and get error "Backup Error. An error occured performing your app backup. A log of the error has been sent to ClockWorkMod. Click Backup to attempt to backup the remaining apps. OK." Same error if I try Google Drive and Dropbox - although I would need a premium Helium account to restore from there. Cloud - Box I dont have an account.
I am using Helium version 1.1.4.1
Any suggestions?

After connecting Helium to the computer, can you try unplugging the usb and then reconnecting it before doing a backup?

Well.. unconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable seemed to get further. Thanks. I think it is now backed up. BUT.. the next problem I have is the older phone I want to restore it to (HTC HD).. I tried to install Helium on to that and it says "your device isn't compatible with this version". Argh!
Is there a plan B??

If you are rooted you can try titanium backup as it will backup it for sure

The problem I am having with Helium is: I have backed up the game (EW4) locally/internally on the phone, but I think I need to be able to sync it to the computer to download to another phone (I've got another up to date phone now). However Under the restore and sync option in Helium on the phone, under my devices, it shows "No Devices Found", and clicking refresh, unplugging the USB cable etc, makes no difference.
If I could copy the backup file manually that would be something but I can't see where on the phone the backup file is saved.
Any ideas?

The folder that Helium uses on my phone is named "carbon". Try searching for that.

I can see the carbon\com.easytech.ew4 folder on my phone, but there are no files in. I have enabled view hidden files too on the PC.
Likewise I can see the folder Android\data\com.easytech.ew4\files on the phone, but that also "appears" empty.

Which folder is empty? The backup folder, com.easytech.ew4, should be placed in the carbon folder.

yes, the com.easytech.ew4 is in the carbon directory. But I can't see any files in the com.easytech.ew4 folder.

Have you tried restoring? If it doesn't work, then it might not have been backed up correctly. I really can't explain the empty folder, so, sorry.
