I have these 9 generals. Should I buy a new cavalry general or upgrade them and buy items for them? by the way is this the best choice for mithridates. I found this match very powerful.

I can only do decisive battles with 30 medals currently. I understand I need more generals to complete other decisive battles. Currently with decisive battles + daily reward + daily missions + advertisement = 60+15+maybe 22+36 = 133 medals per day. I want to upgrade my generals because I can’t finish chapter 9- 14 with all 3 stars. Seems like I’ll have to wait patiently. ( I’m at chapter 15 now

I'd suggest getting more generals for decisive battles, as upgrading skills isn't as impactful as having another strong general, although I'd say improve pompey's March and shield wall, and Belisarius' cavalry commander, Guerrilla and Assault. For generals to get, Huo and labienus. Crassus is also good along with Sertorius as they can double as infantry and cavalry generals , tho Crassus has March and movement will be needed in later campaigns for easier 3 stars. Quite expensive, but they'll improve your chances in Decisive battles. Then start focusing more on buying cavalry generals, like tiberius, arminius, etc. Some cheap ones like Varus are also strong, so it isn't a bad strategy to just buy the cheaper generals to for back-up, then sell them later on. Reason being that the last decisive battle where you play as the Han gives you a lot of cavalry to use, and you want to increase your chances of being able to farm it by having more cavalry generals. Gives 100 medals daily, and isn't too difficult compared to the other decisive battles. Also, your Mithridates is strong, tho giving him those items for the majority of the time doesn't seem safe, as archers have the tendency to die quickly, and I rather Belisarius have them. But, it's not a bad strategy if you can sufficiently protect him, tho it may be difficult to do so when completing missions with a turn count limit for 3 stars.

Im still considering should i buy huo or arminius There isn't too much difference, Arminius is better in jungles and against infantry and is more resilient, while Huo will have more consistent crits and does more damage to units with a larger force. One thing to note too is that huo already starts with 7 points of cavalry, so he's great out of the box, while Arminius will need some levels to get to his optimal state. Arminus tho has 6 more attack than huo when both are maxed when commanding cavalry, which isn't game changing, but it's something. It all comes down to more crits or more defense + 6 attack points.
