But what do ya say? Govorov, Vatutin or Skinny boy Slim? I'd say Govorov. I'll have to wait until the poll is over. (that would be tomorrow)

Manfred von Richthofen, Patton is expensive and his skills aren't good. (Seriously? 950 medals!?). And as Gerd said, maybe getting Mac a companion won't be a bad idea either, but I'd still get Govorov. Also, what are your Axis generals? The reason why I insist on Patton is he needs either Patton or Montgomery to deploy 6 generals in Africa and 1944. Since he goes with Rokossovsky I assume he won't be getting Montgomery. I don't think there's a general good enough for me to drop a slot.

The Rumor could prove useful on a tank (as Grazi shows us), and Inspiration is useful on everything. Good movement, Good Infantry, Good Tank, Good Artillery, Good Availability. 100% get De Gaulle. The only problem is price and that silver Desperate is bad. And, He shows up in just as many places as Montgomery.

Only Montgomery, Patton, and Eisenhower are in both.

Also, what are your Axis generals? i don't have Rommel, but: Guderian Leeb Model Yamashita Donitz Bock Messe Riccardi Ozawa Is Slim a good friend for Mac? Slim will be a worse Yamashita. So eh... Patton has 2 good skills, but silver leader skills aren't a massive statement, unless the general has crazy output without it. Monty is basically Roko with AF+1* instead of AA. So you get a 2nd Roko or Vatutin. Govorov is better Chuikov, acceptable in 1944, not now. Chuikov will do just fine. Naval generals also aren't a big priority. Infantry generals are covered unless Mac isn't doing it, if so, I recommend Bradley.

The point here is, I feel, is not "a general good enough to drop a slot", but "a general bad enough and expensive enough to get another". Or maybe, How about getting Rommel now?

gomna lock the poll now. winner: patton You might regret it... But I don't think it's a problem if you saved your progress just before you get Patton. In this way, you can try out another general in case you don't like Patton or any other general for that matter. Just a tip.

gomna lock the poll now. winner: patton His output can be crazy, it just only has a 12% chance of being crazy. Same for Monty, just with double the chance.

HT general 2.0 (i hope he doesnt suck). blitzkrieg is a good skill. but i’ll save my progress before getting him so once i dont like him i’ll just get vatutin or someone else.
