I guess I've got a great rhyme to start this *Pretty Geeky* thread off
Today's Physics class, I swear, was an absolute masterpiece. Our lecturer just blowed my mind by the recent developments in Quantum Physics and Oh gosh! I'm pretty excited about these things. Now, we don't really have Quantum Physics, only classical Physics as of now, but our lecturer explained all these things as he diverted a little bit from topic
So what did he say such that I'm getting so excited? And why you too should?
Remember the Law of conservation of linear momentum which you might have learnt when you were studying right? Well, this law basically states that the total momentum of a system remains unchanged, if the external force acting on the system is 0. This law also says (Mathematically) that TOTAL MOMENTUM OF A SYSTEM MIGHT BE 0 IF THERE IS NO EXTERNAL FORCE, BUT INTERNALLY, ALL PARTICLES POSSESS SOME MOMENTUM, SUCH THAT THEIR TOTAL/SUM OF THEIR MOMENTUM IS 0.
This means that if there are, say 2 particles in a system, their momentum is EQUAL, but OPPPOSITE IN DIRECTION TO EACH OTHER, such that they cancel out each other and total momentum of that system is 0 (Unless of course, there is some external force acting on it).
Now, we can also say that the Universe as a whole, is also a system (an isolated system, as of now, until we discover another universe), and the total momentum, according to this law should be 0.
BUT! For that to happen, there should be an equal and opposite thing to whatever we move, such that their momentum cancel out each other. For example, if I raise my right hand, then there should be someone in this Universe, whose left hand's weight = my right hand's weight and they should move with the same speed, as I moved my hand up (Since Momentum = mass x velocity).
You still reading this? If yes, then great. So what does all this has to do with Universe and Quantum Physics?
Bonus :
It is impossible to touch any surface completely.
That's right. You've read that right. It's impossible (as of now) to touch any thing completely. By completely, I mean in the microscopic (atomic) level. No matter whichever surface you touch, there is always some gap between the atoms of your hand and that of the surface you touch.
In case you make the atoms of your hands touch the atoms of the surface, then the atoms will undergo nuclear fusion and then KABOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!! You know what happens next...
Remember that this is nuclear fusion, and a quick google search says that nuclear fusion releases energy several times more that fission. Also remember that even a small area has a large number of atoms so you can expect some pretty big Kabooms there.

Simple. Since it might not always be possible that a person/an object of my right hand's weight, standing exactly opposite to me move in the opposite direction, Quantum Physicists have theorized that THERE IS ANOTHER PLANET, EXACTLY OPPOSITE TO EARTH IN THE UNIVERSE, WHERE THERE IS ALWAYS ANOTHER PERSON (ANOTHER YOU), WHO DOES THE SAME THING, WHATEVER YOU DO, BUT IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION, SUCH THAT THE MOMENTUM IS ZERO.
Now this might be the scientific meaning, but if you don't understand a thing about all the blabbering I did above, it basically has 2 implications :
1. All the actions you do is because the other "you" in the other "earth" is doing the exact same thing, but in the opposite direction. So if you are writing from left to right, that's because the other "you" on the other "earth" is writing from right to left!
You can even say that the converse is true.
2. If this is true (looks pretty legit until now) indeed, then you are somehow (Would call the Spiritually?) connected to the other "you" in the other "Earth", such that all the actions you do are opposite to his/hers, and are happening at the same time!
