The escorting skill/s is a skill for naval admirals to increase the defense of surrounding friendly ships and their own, this skill, when maxed, can increase 20 defense in 3 grids. It looks good, but for me, I still don't know, how effective of a skill is it? How much damage is decreased with 20 defense?

I don't remember the damage formula, but this is the best you can make use of when fighting at sea. Keeping your ships alive in a war of attrition is part of this game's naval battles.

It’s a good skill. You’ll need good navy generals with escorting for Crimean War challenge

It is equivalent to Cavalry, Artillery, and Infantry commander is skill rating. |
