I am very sorry to have arrived late but it was for a good cause, be that as it may, I did not forget about you and I came back after an investigation of how to upload photos XD. There is my commander (I accept suggestions to make it more lethal, but it must be infantry since I have not yet made the conquest of Asia) and the second image is of all the generals I have if they could recommend the strongest and that I must have (no matter the price) I would be eternally grateful.

I don't know if it's wise to build your commander simply based on the uniform you have rn. Infantry is probably second best choice, as Infantry has a lot of good options early on, and Pompey, Vercingetorix, Labienus(a bit mid to late game due to banner reliance) and Crassus. Cavalry general will pretty much just zoom around the map alot and doesn't need much support due to canto effect(chance of moving after defeating an enemy), making the cavalry commander much more reliable in harder missions, but infantry general is also really powerful. For generals, you already have the 3 best from the medal pool. I'd say get more low cost generals first that would fill in slots like Pacorus,Flaminius and Pedius. They'll still be useful later on, and their medal cost to performance cost is great. Then, get Antony, Crassus/Vercingetorix and another cavalry general like Huo or Arminius if you stick to your infantry commander, or another infantry general if you switched to the cavalry commander. Then buy Octavian or Drussus(or both). You should get through all of the campaign with that set-up. Then prepare buying more cavalry generals for farming the last Decisive battles, the hun one. That's the short run down of it.

lamhpolo, the uniforms add 15% damage to the unit and x-type of legions in the surrounding 2 grids. So, Gallicus Uniform is the best for a cavalry, since Commander would already be deployed on one.

I think I will stick to my infantry commander, although it is not the most profitable option without a doubt, since there are many good generals for the infantry, but I will leave it at that because of the resources I have, I will change the counterattack for the roar for more damage and for the moment I will get Octavian or Huo to balance the generals I have.

Then it'll be a slightly improved Vercingetorix.
