I completed most of the ET games (GoG1+Pacific, WC3, WC4, EW4, EW6, EW6:1914, GCRome, GoG3) and wrote several guides. Maybe EW5 will be added to the list eventually. Anyways, I'd be happy to share my opinions on generals' value in hindsight and general paths as well as beginner recommendations. And I'm always curious about game mechanics discoveries/skill discussions.

jonblend, do what I requested and I'll accept you. All you lack is the post number, so by simply making a guide review and update for all the games you finished, it would be a nice compromise, in fact, it saves you time, rather than making 800+ more posts. That, and I'll request you to make a guide review anyway once you qualify, so what I'm asking of you is really simple compared to the traditional way.

I was actually thinking of asking you if you could participate in our activities, but since you ask to join, why not. How has your group been doing so far? It's doing alright. For now, I'm just editing some old guides from EW6 1914 and GCR. The others finished the EW4 library, so the guys who are doing that are free. Haven't seen the wc4 and GoG3 guys, although they're making guides(scholars ftw), so it's alright in the meantime. Wc3 is a problem, since I don't think we have a member that's currently playing and willing to see if the guides hold up. For ew5, I'm still playtesting, so it might take a while. Iron Duke has been actively holding that front, so by the time I have enough experience to see the guides objectively, all I would see is up-to-date guides. If wc3 stays uninspected and unedited for a while, I'll start playing it so I can see if there are some unedited ones. Oh, I also asked permission from Saltin if I could have some of the important edits pinned, so that's neat. |

^ yeap it's np, pins are usually prime real estate since we can only have so many in each area before it becomes too crowded but libraries (the master threads that contains links to guides and such) normaly get top priorities for that.
