The prussian helmet is an item you can give to your general, it gives them +15% defense, for my case I will put it on Dabrowski so I can make his +32% defense into +47%. However, when I tested Dabrowski with +32% defense on a Heavy Cav (42 def), he gets 55. Then I calculated how much he will get with +47%, he got 61, it only gives you 6 additional defense. But maybe I'm assuming quick, so my question is what is the percentage of damage reduce for a unit with 60 defense. And based on your experiences, is the prussian helmet any good?

The formula for percentage of damage reduced by defense (d) is d/(100+d). So going up from 55 to 61 gives you about an additional 2% reduction.

That being said, I would recommend a +15% defense helmet. There are better hp options like Royal Guards Clothes and I believe there is a +15% one as well. |

Hmm maybe the knight long gun is better. It is one with +10 BA and +20 CA. Is it better than the defense and health items?

By that I mean if you have two troops of one kind, you get either Knight Long-Gun or Beck Rifle. It is better than both defense and hp items. Except maybe 25% from Royal Guards clothes. |
