Now that I'm thinking about it, I should write about Prussians and how they managed to become the powerhouse they were in the mid to late 19th century due to military reforms. Too late,my friend, Robert Citino already did it. "The German Way of War: From the Thirty Years' War to the Third Reich" University Press of Kansas. ISBN 0-700-61410-9 OCLC 61362770 Boooo. It's really hard to write anything original these days. Some guy would always one up me.,usually they would live a hundred years ahead, which sucks. Really hard to live in the 21st century. But yeah, I meant a summary about how Prussia got steamrolled in the presentations board. It's really interesting how Prussia managed to adopt Napoleon's strategy and eventually became a military power, until the end of ww1.

hrabrimalitoster, I'm practicing law that's why. That and life is too short to live timidly. Unless being timid is required, then ya gotta bend to what the wind dictates. And don't worry. I'm not taking it seriously. I am taking notes tho

stoic, you even used Scipio. I feel double sad that I had to use sacrificial generals to finish the Sicilian decisive battles.

So, I bought Cleo as a support admiral. I thought it was a good decision as well.

Turns out she wasn't needed. Well, the argument was who was better and not if they were unnecessary , so my arguments aren't invalid. . That said, I now know why I struggled extra in the Sicilian decisive battles: almost all my generals had march, and they would get isolated due to moving around. It became easier when I used my non-march generals. A downside to March sadly, thankfully not too big of a downside.

Thanks to the pandemic, I have much more time for myself now. Pretty neat honestly. Not my first choice of a career path, but it does lead to good political prospects in the future. I wanted to try to be an artist, but I had no talent in that whatsoever.

I'm not attracted to bones. But true, although I'd doubt Cleopatra would use her beauty to charm someone if it isn't effective. I'd be interested in listening to her proposals tho.

One thing is certain now: it is more convenient to buy Cleo or Agrippa than to wait for a "free" Aetius. My prediction was fulfilled It is a pain to get him, you simply can't do it if you are not an endgame player.

My suspicion they will use Aetius as a "historic" general in one of the remaining HL missions. I won't be surprised that there will be naval battles too.

Exactly, that's the feeling I get when people ask me that question. He's definitely not worth the grind if you're trying to do Sicily DB. One curious thing though is that I did the Sicily DB after I got Aetius, but he died on the first round.
