Probably they concentrate their efforts on early Middle ages at the moment(but even then there were better known generals, like her son, Sviatoslav, for example, or Yaroslav the Wise). But then Joan definitely doesn't fit the bill.

Ouch, so far no one from HRE =( they announced that there will be 19 legendary generals, maybe Barbarossa or smn from HRE will be included. |

I would be very offended not to see Frederick Barbarossa and a campaign about him. As well as in Age of Empires. Another thing, does anyone know if he will maintain the same Commander system as in Great Conqueror: Rome?

Actually it looks like EW, but not GCR. |

I think 6th general is Batu Khan not Genghis Khan, Batu Khan is known for his conquest in Central Europe. I don't think that Genghis Khan ever see Europe but his regional warlord instead.

It says he was the founder of Mongol Empire, and considered the best commander of all time. Definitely Genghis.

Wow, wow, wow, Easy Tech, hundred thanks for Duchess Olga !!!! I knew they are going to add some medieval Russian history in this game! Some guy on the ET discord gave a full rage about how Olga looks like your generic fantasy warrior princess and not orthodox lol, still pretty cool to see Russian generals however I'm really excited for generals of the Caliphate on the other hand. Muslim generals are almost non-existant in other ET games. Khalid and Saladin are in EW5, EW6: 1804 has Ottoman generals and so does EW6: 1914... |
