I agree with all except: With Siege Master and Spy, Sophia is the best [ ] and units in cities. This is wrong! Siege Master is meh compared to the evasion skills. Only under good conditions: City, Stable, Factory must be on a on a flat tile, (no hills or tree), and only in the first two campaigns or 1798, Sophia hits avg +3 DMG higher than Sakurako or Isabella, and this because of explosives. All with same stars of courseDo you ever put Sakurako on artillery? She's also pretty strong. I feel like after explaining the drawbacks of siege master it only makes the case for Ushakov stronger. Maybe he's better than Scharnhorst too because of his naval skills. Scharnhorst has two more stars and engineering.

If I remember correctly, has the HRE campaign has a lot of missions for 3 artillery princess and I know 100% that Sakurako finished the final Battle, also on artillery. It was exact the situation when I wanted to invest in my first general: Sharnhorst my initial choice was still not in the Academy, so I tried Dumo first: very dissappointing. Then I tried as intermediate Sakurako, because there was ONE! thread where Sakurako was not 'Unfocussed and unwanted' - like Maria. From the first moment Sakurako outperformed Sophia for everything thats not a fort.

am i the only one who feels that spending the extra 200 medals to get Collingwood is better than getting Usakov/Kate? I have used Collingwood before but was ultimately unsatisfied. UnfortunatelyοΌballistics doesn't workοΌso Collingwood just has 4 stars to Ushakov's 2 and accuracy. If there's no level evasionοΌCollingwood is better- but it seems like there is. On the last campaign SNS he regularly dealt in the 20s and 30s on artillery. I think the level evasion increases as the game continues. My feeling so far is that Ushakov provides higher and more consistent damage.

Collingwood I would only recommend as an option if you have plenty of extra slots - his main strengths over Ushakov are he has fireproof and 4 artillery stars off the bat so he's a little bit cheaper to build up, but even that may not be worth it if you don't have that many slots simply because Ushakov has Accurate

Sophia having Explosive instead of Accurate means Sakurako will kill humans much faster but she can struggle against forts. I used to run Sakurako on Cav anyways and let Isabella take the Artillery spot lol

YesοΌI usually put Sakurako on cavalry and Isabella and Sophia on artillery as well. There are a lot of campaign missions which also have a 3rd artillery unit- DBL heavy for Isa , siege/ rockets for Sophia and then an additional DBL light artillery.
For my princess line up that spot goes to Kate because she at least has 2 stars on artillery and fireproof is kind of useful on guns. But her damage is too weak. Ushakov is a stronger alternative.
Why not Scharnhorst? When the lineup is complete I will have Lan and Sulkowski on cavalry first. Sakurako is more useful on that light artillery because she can get it up to 4 hex on all terrains. Ushakov also has value as a top naval general.
