My current HQ line up is Sophia 150/10 5* artillery || Fatimah 125/10, 5* cav and trade || Maria 110/10, 5* inf; all 5 movement stars. Last night I finished an attempt at the magic speedrun: www.bilibili.com/video/BV1Ht41117sb and picked up Isabella and Sakurako. Decision: Buy two more slots, or regroup Fatimah and Maria into Isabella and Sakurako? Right now I am leaning toward buying the slots. If I want to attempt the speedrun again, I am going to need a five-star trader with Napoleonic Code or its equivalent (the speedrun uses Arnold with NC), and that's what Fatimah is. Why throw that away? Also, the last time I got rid of Fatimah because I was too cheap to buy a slot for less than a cup of coffee, I deeply regretted it.

If your device stays stable when wired and if you can, I would buy the two slots. You even have already highly developed Fatima and Maria (a pity for all the Diez), but the main reason why I recommend to You pathdoc, two more slots, is the extra fun in the campaign. All missions allow 6 commander to place. The whole campaign is build for this princess-lineup (Lan + Victoria are an not necessary extra), and You may can even start to enjoy the campaign with its relative short tasks. On top you have also a better chance to get LAN: The limit for the asian HQ-bonus is 175.000πΎ. This means: 3 maxed 150/10 commander + 1 trainer with at least 64/10 - or more generals at a lower stage π€. Disclaimer: I played a few times EW4, but I never was able to regroup one single princess. When I could, I bought two (or three !) additional slots. Compared to IAP β or β , the extra slots enhance the whole gameplay for a really reasonable price.

ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ, this is indeed correct. The flexibility gained by opening even a single extra slot (to let you have four princesses and a trainer) is out of proportion to what the same money buys for anything else in the game shop. In the end, I bought three - one for Isabella, one for Sakurako, and the third for Kate when I next do a good America run. So far the device has remained stable on AC. If the save files survive any subsequent crash, I will still have a 9999/99xx/9999 finish on turn 42, which should be enough to start getting at least the early princesses back immediately, even if I don't have any HQ rice. All the Diez were worth it. If I'm going to do small nations grinds (I just finished a 300 turn Morocco conquest which earned enough medals to buy him, LOL), a Fatimah who is powerful enough to take some heavy hits and fight on into the end game will come in handy... especially if that nation has early access to a trading post.

For me is having 6+1 slots is the golden choice. Movement + health is for me the main advantage HQ-commanders offer, finding so many Diez is already a miracle (or really hard work) Your first class princess are alredy fast and evolved, so Isabella and Sakurako don't make the difference they do normally, when you get the first Elite Princess, but You will enjoy themΒͺ You have now already a very strong and flexible lineup. Kate is the only princess I never joined. Right now I have joined the first time Maria and she gave me, early in the game, no reason to complain for now. Fatima is amazing hard. She takes so much hits and survives practical everything - exept on the first round on a Siege of Tulon grind (with 74HP) . Your next commander will be Lan ! You gave me long time ago the great tip to search for Antonio Luna 's GB 1812 guide as alternative to HRE for a LAN-run. This was a brekthrough for me and I found out, that America has more rice than Europe. Thanks to Erich von Manstein's new 1775 US guide this is my recommandation for You today. EnjoY pathdoc! PS: For american years you can collect as much ressources as you can - until R31! For Lan is R25 the target.

Just keep on adding slots! No reason to limit yourself to even 6 slots. I'm playing now with ArnoldοΌSophiaοΌMariaοΌFatimaοΌKate, Isabella, and Sakurako. I plan to add 4 more spots- LanοΌVictoriaοΌand Sulkowski and then an extra slot for trainers. I might even get a 12th slot for Ushakov.
For now I'm skipping all yellow objectives and non princess run conquests. I will go back and do them once I have the full team.
I use Trotsky's trick to grind nobility.

I got to feeling that ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ is right; the best thing to do is go for princesses only. If you can get Fatimah without buying any non-princess generals, she can easily become your 5-star trader with cheap trainers, and she pretty much has built-in Napoleonic Code if you want to do the HRE speedrun. I know, I know; some generals are better in the right-out-of-the-box condition. Maybe in the long term my position will change (fully buffed Berthier was nice until I lost him to an uncommanded reset; it would be nice to get him back), but right now I have a bunch of princesses to train up.
