I think that Alex is the best for the Thunder. First, he is super tanky, soon he can afford to take a hit from something worth debuffing, he has a bad active, he gains a double debuff, and he gets an insane (with nothing but those) 33% crit rate with 150% damage. With nothing but thunder and Friendliness. I'm considering Alex because of that 30% rage regen buff, pretty much that and his 10 initial rage. Turns it's quite significant for the most part, and what you mentioned just improves on the fact that his rage regen is great. Julius is there, but he costs medals and not everyone will go for him as their first main general, while Alex is free.

And yup due to a bug thunderer can stun upto 36 units if u r lucky (6 melee ranged infantry* cavalary*, 12 mid ranged archs*, and 18 long ranged arty* + few longbow archs.) Although thts impossible (even i could achieve only 13) but yup this glitch works well.
If u have thunder clap(if thats wht it is called) active and smone attacks u(means its their turn) and u attack back they will be stunned.

When you put those equipment on Caesar and let him enjoy the privilige of getting kills, he should be wielding Gungnir. I don't think Aegis belongs to a key performer of the team. I think this applies to Alex as well for zabadanov86 . I was arguing that aegis is a good artifact for Caesar, not that he's the best user. I already talked about Alex and him being underrated and that he'll be the best aegis user in arena, and by extension, in pve battles as well. I'm also exploring the option of Alex as a thunder user for the thunder active. I don't think gungnir is the best artifact for Caesar, but i guess if other key gungnir users aren't available in the team, then he'll use it extremely well, especially for manual when you can pick which active to use. That said, i will stand by the fact that Caesar is an effective user of Aegis, unless proven otherwise. The only thing that would shut him down is being overwhelmed when his aegis active is down, or being rumored. The point is not Caesar himself but rather the treatment. You are giving him 2 rage items and letting him get kills. From my perspective, that's what a key player on the offensive side gets, and such a general shouldn't have Aegis.

Thunderer would be better on caesar IMO. Great offense. Chaos wow. Nice critic chance. And the rage buff allows him to use both abilities at times. But i dont think anyone would choose costly cure over thunder storm if they plan it calm and early.

From my perspective, that's what a key player on the offensive side gets, and such a general shouldn't have Aegis. He doesn't need to get the kills, and his use would be more of a 1 or 2 man party to capture a point. We can just skip the aegis part of his healing if needed, and use aegis over his healing if needed. Of course, i get what you're saying, and it's a valid point, but i simply say that there are other more suitable generals in that role, and Caesar's role overlaps in a lot of other roles, and since he has 30% rage regen, he's content on just hitting things to get rage rather than outright killing. That said, i would give my Caesar Gungnir if no other suitable offensive general is around.
