If Korea's ever gonna get reunited again it's probably gonna be the southern government, cause looking at the way the Kim dynasty is going right now I don't think North Korea will make it past this decade.
Then it's a matter of whether or not China's gonna step in. China did say that if North Korea does anything stupid then they'll be neutral in any conflict that arises, which means if North Korea is at the end of its lifespan China probably isn't gonna try to help them survive either.

True, but North Korea is already totally dependent on China, a conflict would be something, i don't think they could survive. |

if china would interfere into the korean relation about unification to help north korea, usa would intervene for south korea and third world war inevitable. i dont think china is so crazy to mess with the usa in a war.

Unlike China which can unified using peaceful way if both decided to use Sun yat sen three principle, ehhh Korean to united need to use forceful way imo (WAR), China at first already united under Sun Yat Sen (United Front) 1924, until ruined by Chiang Kai Shek and Mao. While ehhh Korea only united during Joseon time and Japan occupation, after that there isn't any unified Korean figure nor ideology so you can only expect war there, (RoK obviously will win but it will take some more years for them to make the Northern assimilate with em)

But I'm not sure though, but if XI feels NK is getting out of control, North Korea's doom is just an order away. However, that would be foolish to do so because he'll just bring the US closer to his ground and that's why I say it's not going to happen anytime soon, at least until Xi Jinping is in power. |

south koreans are against having nuclear weapons as their northern counterpart do. cuz being against pro liferation, relying heavily on trade relations. and tested non nuclear missiles actually which are as good as nukes. but nuclear shield tech aagainst wmds are in development
