Thanks thanks. I've started the run. I'll see how it goes. I'm a huge archer fan in all games and I had the most fun with arch com. I completed most everything except the industrial strongholds I'm still collecting relics for them and I'll see how that goes. So I wanted to start another run simultaneously cuz that's going kinda slow. I'm still debating whether I should use suleiman or Edward for late a team. On one hand better stats on the other leadership. I'll have to figure out when I get there which one feels better.

As for final team i suggest 8 cavs 3 arty 3 arch 2 inf. I assume u r f2p and thus suggest attila, suri as must. Then suleiman and blucher as farm gens. Charle and saladin to be arch punch-bags. And rest two to ur choice, u can go for other comms or any u like. I suggest edward and hannibal(genghis if p2p) . In arty go for bismark khalid and Cleopatra. In arch go for nobby nelson and pachuti. In inf go for petain and barbarossa. U may choose some different. And know that this is 16 gen team. Ur best 8 are ur 8 gen team with four cavs 3 arch and 1 arty. I wouldn't consider Nelson and Pachacuti to be too good fits for a CavCom lineup. He is going for CavCom and Nelson is solely for ArchCom. Pachacuti can be a team player but that's going to take forever. I'd go for someone like Moctezuma or Mulan instead. Hongzhang's debuff is also very good- he's a blue archer with +100% damage against cav at level 6 (1 upgrade) with archcom. I use a mixture of cavcom and archcom as I like cavcom speed but also arch range (especially Nelson's 1-3) |

Yeah li is amazing. Honestly playing with cavcom does seem like playing with a handicap. I know people say every comp has its strengths blah blah. But archcom is best no contest. The "squishy" problem can be very easily overcame by proper tactics range and leadership use. You don't have much options with cav com. And seems that I wouldn't be able to complete some missions at all with cav com. And using 3 archers might be able to do it but it's still using archcom with forcing more than one cav haha

And using 3 archers might be able to do it but it's still using archcom with forcing more than one cav haha Archers and Cavalry are too squishy for my taste, especially in AI battles, and Artillery don't have enough damage or Commanders. InfCom is what works for me, tanks with low damage and great skills, compared to others. My main problem with archers is not that they are way to fragile, although they are, but that really until Industrial, you can't stop enemies from attacking them, even with the available leadership and stuff. In addition, you get Alex and Barb for free, so why screw up a good thing?  |

I had a run with archcom when I passed every campaign 3 star without waiting till the next Era to upgrade gens. It just seems impossible to do with others. Maybe I'm just not good enough with others yet haha. And I'm trying to make infcom and cavcom but I want to do majority of missions with max one archer. I don't like using the same gens here. And that seems a hard thing to do. Especially when industrial comes seems like I wouldn't have enough to destroy enemies in time. Especially with cavalry considering they die really fast.

U know theres always a correct way to use things. Try and find that for urself by urself, if i stoic or iron duke tell it to u we would just be ruining it imo. It will take all the fun if u give up or use lot of same gens or end up doing opposite of the latter. I know u dont want to use the same very gens but one way or other some gens please a lot. Try not to overthink and stress. The only restrictions on urself are your thoughts, in any area of life and not just games.

I know I know. I'm just saying. I'm still trying it I'm not giving up for sure. Just sharing my thoughts. Maybe I'm wrong. But I do have lots of fun playing with different comps and strategies.

Now when i read my previous post, i feel it to be a lecture 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Anyways goodluck. I too am addicted to this game for that very reason. Now counting all my complete runs as well gave up runs it must have reached a century. Only 4 of them cavcomms.🙃

Hello! I've been a lurker on this forum for a while. I recently completed the game with archcom and while that is my favorite by far. I wanted to try a cavcom. I tried infcom but it's too slow for my taste. So I'm looking for suggestions on a cavcom team and item suggestions for them. What would my final team and items be? I'd love some thoughts. Thank you! Attila and *Suri are the absolute best. Edward and Asoka are commander helpers. Suleiman and Blucher are great defensive generals. Saladin can be added on. I would say Shingen can be another general who is better than Hannibal (unless when fighting infantry). Genghis will swap out Shingen if applicable. |

Yes you can lecture. That is why I asked and posted this 🤣. I am still learning this game of course. And it's my absolute favorite as well. I've only done the one successful run so far. I mean it's still not completely done. A few strongholds left but yeah. I'm hoping to get there with different comps as well. 😁
