I got one question 😁 4. As per your opinion which was more worse- "Holocaust by Nazis" or "Holocaust by British (mostly from THE BENGAL FAMINE 1770)". Please explain your view. To me catastrophies to human lives like the Holocaust, Bengal Famine and Holodomor are not comparable. But of course Bengal Famine probably killed more, so if I'd have to pick one I'd say Bengal. Both were terrible.

I would have to say the Holocaust was worse. The reason is but this. The Holocaust was deliberate mass murder of millions of people. The Great Bengal Famine was a less deliberate but very preventable mass disaster, not outright murder.

Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov Gerd von RundstedtBoth of you expressed opposite opinions Again both of your views are correct 😃 It's true Bengal Famine was preventable but the government didn't (we can say the government didn't take any measures to prevent it). Finally it results to 30 million dead (source: Google; official estimates are always low🧐) it's far greater than Holocaust(Jews) where some 6 million were killed

5. Opinions on General Winfield Scott? Excellent. Absolutely fantastic. Wasn't flashy, but was the single best overall commander of the post Napoleonic military Era. Couldn't win a decent battle for the life of him but sure could win a war. Shame Lincoln didn't listen to him.

Capture of mexico city, handling of the pig war, anaconda plan, etc. yes I agree to an extent.

Umm...can we have the hardcore historical debates like we used to in the past? Can we?
The topic - Why wasn't Napoleon great? Oh wait never mind, it's done I suppose.
The "Real" Topic - 6.
What are your views on this? How much do you agree and where do you disagree?

Q7. What if Pearl Harbor never happens? Since you're online (and because of your unique views) Gerd von Rundstedt, what do you think?

Q7. What if Pearl Harbor never happens? Since you're online (and because of your unique views) Gerd von Rundstedt, what do you think? The only possible way Pearl Harbor never happens is if Japan decides either that the Soviet Union is the number one enemy. If Japan declares war on Britain, then America (at least, under FDR) is sure to continue with their decidedly interventionist policies and eventually declare war on Japan. However, if this happens, the majority of the population (isolationists) are unwilling to go to war for Britain. Pearl Harbor in this scenario (not necessarily the same attack/place in OTL) creates outrage, but is less viewed as a sort of terrorist attack as it was in OTL. The more probable scenario is that Japan turns its imperialist eyes to the Soviet Union, as recommended by most of the military. This way, they maintain friendly relationships with the western powers (allowing for trade), as well as getting the coal and oil reserves of Siberia. In addition, they can have an easier war with China as the Soviet Union is not sending them ridiculous amounts of aid.
