Which factor(s) played the most important role in Napoleon's downfall? Was Napoleon's downfall inevitable? (I think yes, but I would like to know your opinions) It depends on what you mean. If Napoleon acted like Napoleon, then yes, his never ending ambition would make it inevitable. If Napeon did not act like Napoleon, then it would not, but in that case we are arguing an impossibility.

Which factor(s) played the most important role in Napoleon's downfall? Was Napoleon's downfall inevitable? (I think yes, but I would like to know your opinions) For me, 1.The greatest twist of Napoleonic empire began when they attacked Spain(after defeating/capturing much of Portugal) 2.the second-the most important factor for his downfall was THE INVASION OF RUSSIA...๐ง...I think most of the people may be aware of this disaster that took place during that time

My question from ww2๐ 2.How strong would Germany be today if the war(ww2) ends in 1942? Probably much stronger than it is today. The only way I can see a war ending in 1942 is if Hitler realizes that Barbarossa was a monumental failure and surrenders to the Western Powers. Germany is never really under Soviet rule, and it's economy and government go on the right track, never divided.

3. The U.S.A. tried to invade British North America a.k.a. Canada during the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812, they failed both times. Is there any way for them to successfully invade and conquer Canada or is it hopeless from the start? And if they did succeed, what are the consequences if it did happen?

Is there any way for them to successfully invade and conquer Canada or is it hopeless from the start? And if they did succeed, what are the consequences if it did happen? They definitely could not. Their generalship was poor and they were fighting against the world's largest superpower who had an extremely vested interest in Canada. If they somehow succeed, not much changes. Under any treaty they would give it back if all else stays the same in the war. Maybe they take a bit of land? And have a more well-developed claim in Oregon?
