Irl the Republic recruited 1.7 million and the rebels 1.4 million if I recall correctly. Shrimant Peshwa Madhavrao Bhat, I think recruitment shouldn't be allowed anyways, not because there's anything bad in recruitment, but it would make the RP kind of weird. For example the 30,000 strong army of Africa would be much more effective than 120,000 republican recruits. Also a Comintern led communist division would be much more effective than a 4 times larger force consisting of nationalist recruits. Also, the sides sre almost equal (republicans against facists). Also, I'll search source, but it doesn't even matter.
