Rules
1. Diplomacy
All the Rebels and Republicans are in war against each other in the beginning, but no actual alliances exist yet except a few small ones. You are free to make alliances, but Rebels (includimg Germany and Italy) cannot make an alliance with any of the Republicans (including the USSR) and vice versa.
Different members of an alliance can be in war with different factions as long as not with each other. You can leave an alliance, but you can never take any action against your ally or former ally. So in short, no betraying.
As said, Republicans cannot have alliances with Rebels, but different factions inside these two sides can have war with each other (for example Popular Front against POUM). To add to this I made an extra rule to avoid making de facto alliances with the enemy side, it might be a bit complicated: if a faction is in war with a faction belonging to the same side (Republicans or Rebels), it has to remain at war with the enemy side (Republicans or Rebels), to prevent the creation of de facto alliances with the enemy side.
Any side can have peace with enemy factions if it is able to negotiate a peace. However that side cannot attack factions on the same side in that case.
Neutral sides like France can make any alliances they want.
Added rule: Non-Spanish belligrents cannot have direct war with each ither outside of Spain.
2. One player can use a specific force to attack only once until the defending player responds, 24 hours pass and the defending player has been online or 48 hours pass. The attacking player also cannot attack with another force from an area he/she/they had just conquered until one of the three criterias are met.
Added rule 3. Foreign aid
Foreign powers can aid Spanish belligrents with only a fixed number of arms and men (numbers not ready yet). Foreign powers cannot recruit anymore forces.
4. No recruitment or additional forces.
