Alright, I have Genghis, Nobby, and Alex at 3 stars, Nappy at 4, and Moctezuma at two. I have Genghis's Braveness maxed out and Nobby's Spy and Leadership at 6. I have not gotten any equipment. I would like to try out an ArchCom, despite my reservations. I am at level 25, with Joan, Barb, and Saladin on the way. Who should I get next and what should be my general path?

Montezuma and Yi are the best you can get right now. You could also get Jebe, but Jebe sucks and Yi is him but better. |

What about holding on until Li Hongzhang arrives? I played a balanced-archcom lineup until he arrived.

upgrade mocte to 3* and level up his leadership. you could also go for richard scince he gets logistics and rumour. although will he fit in an archcom I dont know

upgrade mocte to 3* and level up his leadership. you could also go for richard scince he gets logistics and rumour. although will he fit in an archcom I dont know IMO, Barbarossa is a good inf gen, easier to use than Richard and has more team value for the two inf gens in an archcom lineup. |

Nobunaga Oda,oh certainly. I only like him for his 6* skills. btw Peter could also be a great buy since he has commander, rumour and destroy at 6*

Is there anyone I should get in the meantime? Is Jhansi worth it before 6 stars? Not exactly, but my purple and gold generals are stuck on 4*s because they cost 1200/1500 medals to upgrade to 5*s. I upgraded Li Hongzhang, Suriyothai, Jhansi to 6*s and they are basically the backbone of my team, along with 4* Nobby. Jhansi will be a worse Awakened Pachacuti but in the meantime, if you can save ~1400 medals for *s and skills, she will be worth it. I don't exactly recommend waiting for Li Hongzhang to be your next archer, because he's in Industrial, but he is still extremely good. |

Is there anyone I should get in the meantime? Is Jhansi worth it before 6 stars? Jhansi -> I use still use her in arena (at lv 40) but only until I have awakened Pachacuti available. Probably never used her in campaigns. My team is something of a cav/archer com hybrid because I have Attila and I found Saladin to be very useful with Gungnir and Logistics at 70% gives him reliable HP regeneration. That would also make him a good conquest general who doesn't need support.
From my experience there are certain spikes in the game (due to certain generals being available, being restricted by literature, or by the next (mini-) bosses in Legend mode) that made me shift back and forth between archer and cavalry.
Or maybe it's because Saladin and Barbarossa were "free" and there was no good archer available after Mocte and Nobunaga during Discovery  |

The 2 gens that you "must" have for ArchCom are Nelson & Li. Unfortunately you can't get them early, but that is the only drawback of this style. So, in the meantime until Gunpowder make use of the free/coin generals without investing too much into the ones you don't want to keep and think about acquiring and improving the rest of your team. As you have GK I'd settle for just him and Attila or awakened Suri as the front line and Nappy should be enough for arty, leaving you 5 archer slots in an 8 man team (or even just GK & 6 archers might work too). Mocte's Leadership is worth investing in if not his healing, and awakened Pachi is pretty amazing in the endgame so any medals spent on him won't be wasted. Avoid Wolfe and probably Robin, but the rest of the archers are all viable in their own way. |

I am planning for an endgame of Genghis, Nappy, Bismarck, Yi Sun Sin, Nobunaga, Nelson, Li Hongzhang, and (If I can get him in time) Pachacuti, and if not then Mocte/Jhansi.

Gerd von Rundstedt ,leave off alex. although imo saladin is the best cav gen you get for free I think he should be upgraded. once you reach discovery peter can be a good substitute to barb. also if your eyeing for awakened suri then don't put much into saladin.
