Imo this niche is kinda bad for end-game. It is better to finish the units with Cavalry or even Infantry (Infantry recieved weaker mobility in the Update) to fill the rage bar. And AOE damage is bad here. My two cents: I only got to use the pre-assigned Arthur in Western Giants 3, but I have to say that he is quite a beast. I think that he is better (at least slightly) than Washington. And his active skill is good, he can deal additional damage to two other units for two turns. And with the chance of attacking again after killing a unit he can refill his rage bar quickly, which makes his skill much, much better than AOE on Koxinga or Li Shimin! He is OK. But provided our teams are focused around particular specialization I am having problems bringing him. Like I use archer squad. And as stoic said Cavalry is extremely important. So in most missions I can bring him but without Barbarossa support he is just good mediocre general. Archers are much more powerful under commanders (with Artifacts) and Cavalry is very important for those most difficult missions as well. He is a beast for Infantry focused team. I have Barbarossa, Alex, Ceaser, Peter, Petain. Could give it a try but I doubt they would be stronger than my Archer focused team... |

Yes, obviously Arthur would reach his full potential only with an infCom lineup, we must also consider that. |

I try the Ragnarok conquest with mid upgrade Arthur and he performs extremely well in both attack and defence. He can do auto solo battle without any difficulties while orthers need a team to do that.  |
