Does anyone have any tips or guides for this mission? No matter how I try to hold or push the enemy just never stops spawning. There’s no way for me to hold my own let alone hold the objective!

I completed this mission by using the generals I obtained + Justinian, Theodora,Antonina and Adil 1.
I deployed Justinian with camel archers and a Phalanx in the green spot. and put other generals in respective units.I sent Justinian to defend the objective city and created several units in my city for the defence and I sent every other units to the 2nd objective city. I just wait outside of the 2nd objective city for around 2 turns while Justinian and other units helped with the defence.
At around turn 8, when the 2nd objective city is cuptured,I left a unit to defend and rushed all my units to the main city.I made some units to defend my city from eastern enemies. And the rest is just destroying the units attacking the main city.

Maybe I'm stupid, but I completely can't complete this mission too. I tried hard more than dozen times, but failed. My generals are Alfred with 2 cavalry and 1 counter-inf and all free generals. I tried to send all except Belisarius to yellow city, but when I take it enemy killed crucial unit. I tried to ignore yellow city, but failde anyway. Could someone help me step by step, please?

If you want a basic clear, just focus on the SW city. Ignore the secondary target city.
Send your men towards the city while clearing out the vanguard ahead. There will be brief moments when the city is left empty. Seize it.
There are 2-3 waves of reinforcements, one from from the southeast and south followed by the northeast. They will largely focus on moving towards Damascus. Since your goal is to prevent the fall of the city, physically block their approach and wipe out the follow-up troops while those ahead attack the city.
Use Belisarius and John the Armenian's Recruitment skill by raising the appropriate troops if you have the resources or spamming swordsmen.
Preferably at least one to two unit upgrades for all common units and minor rank upgrades for your gens.
