Myself I wouldn't want to do anything like that as that basically conflicts with my personal values (I am more of a traditional family value kinda guy) but if you or anyone else feel like doing a pride avatar for a few days or something like that then by all means go for it. |

I'm gonna have to agree with Saltin on the topic in terms of my opinion. I'm personally also quite traditional orientated. But I am very tolerant and absolutely don't mind which sex or sexual preferences somebody has. To be precise: It is completly unterresting for me. The CSD is to live and stand for tolerance - for everyone - without any discrimination. And the fiestas are legendary good, even for us hetros. I will not miss it. |

But I am very tolerant and absolutely don't mind which sex or sexual preferences somebody has. To be precise: It is completly unterresting for me. The CSD is to live and stand for tolerance - for everyone - without any discrimination. And the fiestas are legendary good, even for us hetros. I will not miss it. I disagree. I think that, while discrimination is always wrong, that tolerance can often be misplaced. While it is intolerant to tell somebody that their lifestyle is wrong, it may be the right call. In addition, be it heterosexual or homosexual, I don't think that anything of a nature as s*xual preferences should be a public matter, especially if it is as s*xualized as the video shows. I think that it belongs on a individual and private scale, if at all. That is a major reason why I despise the premise of a festival like this. I would dislike it almost as much if it was done for heterosexual people. |
