Now they're tears of joy, what game are we having. Please clarify for a clueless American. Manchester United lost their first game against Brighton 1-2 at home (a game tgey definitely should have won), then in the next game we faced an even bigger catastrophe losing 4-0 to Brentford. Losing 4-0 is always terrible against any club for Man United, but doing so in a game that should have been won and playing terrible despite a new manager is twice as awful. On monday, however we won against our biggest rival (and Man Utd vs Liverpool is not any rivalry, but one of the biggest, if not the biggest rivalry ever in world football) 2-1 after a great performance. Also, to give a bit of perspective the most succesful English club (Man Utd) was 19th out of 20 in the league before the match against Liverpool. |

I haven't played much of EW7 Medival. Didn't enjoy it much initially. Just remembered it existed, what do you all think broadly about if I should check it out again?

I haven't played much of EW7 Medival. Didn't enjoy it much initially. Just remembered it existed, what do you all think broadly about if I should check it out again? It's quite complicated due to the game's many new and experimental features. Also, a lot of the features are modified or completely reused from those of past games, so players who glossed over some recent titles may find more of the features to be foreign. With every new update, the balance of the game is somewhat shaken by the addition of new units / gens and changes to some old units. Plus, hard-core whales who splurge on IAPs get further away and harder to beat in the two "PVP" modes. However, various groups have tried to band together to make the main PVP mode easier (White Flag Movement) and S/L helps in refreshing the day's listing. In Expedition mode, just consult stoic's tips and focus on how far you can go. In Conquest, you can fulfil a basic clear (meet certain requirements) for a shorter run or achieve hegemony (all enemies conquered or befriended and map is only left with yourself and allies). The upgraded diplomatic features allow for your ties with almost everyone else to be improved, even when there is a state of war, by giving gifts or resources. You can even ally with other states and invite them to fight with you (if they are not already at war with your enemy). As for other functions, instead of a tech tree or a certain class of military force (inf, tank, arty, navy or air), you're upgrading invidiual units, across various classes, instead. Basic gen upgrades isn't too different from GC:R or WC4, with upgrades to rank and and nobility (WC4's equivalent of rank plate colour). Even though how you equip the gens requires you to understand that blue and better equipment upgrade skill lvls (up to lvl 4), you can easily tell which ones upgrades skills for a particular gen based on a yellow dot on one of the top corners.
Tl;Dr EW7 contains a lot of improved and/or experimental features. It also skims through a few events from the increasing external pressures contributing to the collapse of the West Roman Empire to the rise of today's England to a few ups and downs during the Byzantine Empire's existence. |

Ok EW7 but wich are the two other games missing ? GOG3 and 1914 are not present. So the third icon is GoG 1.2 not GoG 3 as I thought - right ? Yes EW6w is not there (another subrelease but pratical another game) ... and WC3 has a new icon. |
